The Structure of Revelation 19:11-16 - Part 2

Continuing on with the analysis of the text of Revelation 19:11-16...

Notice the references made to the letters to the seven churches of Revelation 2 & 3 (red boxed in section).

14 And the armies which were in heaven followed him upon white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean.
11 And I saw heaven opened, and behold a white horse; and he that sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he doth judge and make war.
15 And out of his mouth goeth a sharp sword, that with it he should smite the nations: and he shall rule them with a rod of iron:
12 His eyes were as a flame of fire, and on his head were many crowns; and he had a name written, that no man knew, but he himself.
and he treadeth the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And he hath on his vesture and on his thigh a name written, KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS.
13 And he was clothed with a vesture dipped in blood: and his name is called The Word of God.

Compare the high lighted texts (green, orange, pink, and purple) with the letters to the churches of Pergamos and Thyatira:

12 And to the angel of the church in Pergamos write; These things saith he which hath the sharp sword with two edges; ... 17 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches; To him that overcometh will I give to eat of the hidden manna, and will give him a white stone, and in the stone a new name written, which no man knoweth saving he that receiveth it.
Revelation 2:12-17

18 And unto the angel of the church in Thyatira write; These things saith the Son of God, who hath his eyes like unto a flame of fire, and his feet are like fine brass; ... 26 And he that overcometh, and keepeth my works unto the end, to him will I give power over the nations: 27 And he shall rule them with a rod of iron; as the vessels of a potter shall they be broken to shivers: even as I received of my Father. 28 And I will give him the morning star. 29 He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 2:18-29
